Northview Sr CB Jovantae Lee Receives First Scholarship Offer

Senior CB Jovantae Lee received his first scholarship offer on Thursday from Division 2 Lincoln University.  They also offered him a chance to play basketball.  Lee is a two year starter for the Cougars on the field, as well as the basketball court.

Northview’s Tyler Marshall Commits to Play Football at UAB

Congrats to the Cougar’s QB/TE Tyler Marshall a 6’5-240 Senior on committing to play for Bill Clark’s UAB Blazers.  Tyler chose in-state UAB over offers from: Miss State, Nevada, Alcorn State, Southern University, Alabama A&M, Notre Dame College (D2), and a host of others.

Northview Football In The Playoffs for the First Time In 15 Years!

The Cougars have finished 3rd Seed in Region 2 to advance in the AHSAA 6A Playoffs for the first time in 15 years (2000). The Northview Cougars will travel to Hillcrest- Tuscaloosa  (2nd Seed) on Friday, November 6 and play the Patriots at 7:00 PM in the 1st Round of the 6A playoffs.

Congrats to NHS Varstiy Volley Ball Team for making it to Super Regionals

The Northview Varsity Volley Ball team has advanced to Super Regionals in Montgomery to play Carver- Montgomery at 5:30 PM.

Northview Celebrates 1985 Football State Championship on October 2nd

The 1985 Northview Cougars were named Southern Region Champs with an overall 11-4 Record with losses by 6, 5, 7, and 3 pts.  They were the Area 3 Runner-Up.  The Cougars scored 284 pts. to opponents 189.  The 1985 State Championship was the 2nd title in 4 years.
